Dialup Networking Setup Home   |   Back Outlook Express 6 Setup

Windows 98 SE
 
1. Click on My Computer => Dial-up Networking => Make New Connection.
2. Type: HTP 15200
3. Select Your Modem: By default it will be selected, Click on Next.
4. Leave Area Code blank, Type Telephone Number: 15200.
5. Select Country or Region Code,/i>: Nepal (977), Click on Finish.
6. Right click on HTP 15200 and click on Properties.
7. You will see a new dialog, On General Tab, Uncheck: Use area code and Dialing Properties.
8. On Connect Using section click on Configure, Again you will see a new dialog.
9. On General Tab, Select Maximum Speed to: 38400.

On Server Types Tab, make sure to put tick mark only on,
    		•     Enable Software Compression.
    		•     TCP/IP
    11. Click OK.

    Windows 2000
     
    1. Click on Start => Program => Accessories => Communications => Network and Dial-up Connections.
    2. Click on Make New Connection. Click Next.
    3. Select Dial-up to the Internet. Click Next.
    4. Select I want to setup my Internet connection manually. Click Next.
    5. Select I connect through a phone line and a modem. Click Next.
    6. Type Telephone Number: 15200.
    7. Select Country/region name and code to Nepal (977).
    8. Uncheck Use area code and dialing rules. Click Next.
    9. Supply Username and Password provided by HTP. Click Next.
    10. Type Connection Name: HTP 15200. Click Next.
    11. Select No to Do you want to set up an Internet mail account now?
    12. Click on Next, Click on Finish.
    13. Right Click on the Connection just created, HTP 15200. Click on Properties.
    14. On General Tab, Click on Configure, Select Maximum speed (bps) to: 38400
    15. Click OK.

    Windows XP
     
    1. Click on Start => All Programs => Accessories => Communication => New Connection Wizard.
    2. Click Next.
    3. Select: Connect to the Internet. Click Next.
    4. Select: Setup my connection manually. Click Next.
    5. Select: Connect using a dial-up modem. Click Next.
    6. Type ISP Name: HTP 15200. Click Next.
    7. Type Phone number: 15200. Click Next.
    8. Type Username and Password provided by HTP. Click Next.
    9. Tick mark on Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop. Click Finish.
    10. On Dialup dialog, click on Properties.
    11. On General Tab, click on Configure, then select Maximum speed(bps) to: 38400
    12. Click OK, Now click on Connect to Dial to HTP using HTP 15200

    Outlook Express 6
     
    1. Open Outlook Express.
    2. Click on Start => Programs => Outlook Express.
    3. Click on Tools => Accounts.
    4. Click on Mail => Add => Mail.
    5. Display Name: Type Your Real Name :   Deepak Shrestha. Click Next.
    6. Email Address: username@htp.com.np

    Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, HTTP) server: pop.htp.com.np (For Internet + Email Users)
    epop.htp.com.np (For Email Only Users)
    8.
    Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.htp.com.np (For Internet + Email Users)
    esmtp.htp.com.np (For Email Only Users)
    9. Click on Next.
    10. Type Username and Password provided by HTP, Click on Finish.
    11. Select the account you have just created, Click on Properties, you will see a new Dialog.
    12. On General Tab, put your email address in Reply Address :   username@htp.com.np
    13. On Servers Tab, verify the settings as given above.
    14. On Connection Tab, Tick mark on Always connect to this account using.
    15. Select Dial-up Connection made. e.g. HTP 15200
    16. Click on Apply and OK.
